WWE taped the December 23rd episode of Monday Night RAW in advance. As a result, the Superstars on the roster are able to spend the Holiday season with their families. WWE RAW Spoilers – December 23, 2019
— The arena was decorated with Christmas trees and Christmas presents.
— Jimmy Fallon appeared on the big screen and gave a holiday message.
— Kevin Owens faced off against Mojo Rawley in a Christmas Street Fight. Owens won the match and put Mojo through a table after it was over. Owens also cut a promo about Seth Rollins after the match.
— Bobby Lashley faced off against Cedric Alexander. Lashley ended up picking up the victory. Lana announced that she and Lashley will be getting married on the December 30th episode of RAW.
— Drew McIntyre faced off against Zack Ryder. McIntyre picked up the win. After the match, McIntyre also destroyed Curt Hawkins and announced that 2020 will be his year.
— Becky Lynch cut a promo in the ring and said that she wants to face Asuka next. Asuka came out and said that she will become “Asuka 2 belts”. Becky told Asuka to name a time and place (which ended the segment).
— Aleister Black defeated a local jobber in about 10 seconds. After the match, Buddy Murphy came out and talked some trash to Aleister. This led to Aleister hitting ‘Black Mass’ on Murphy. A match between Black and Murphy was announced for the December 30th episode of RAW.
— Ricochet faced off against Tony Nese. Ricochet ended up picking up the win.
— Charlotte Flair faced off against Chelsea Green from NXT. Charlotte ended up picking up the win via submission.
— Randy Orton and The Viking Raiders faced off against The O.C in a 6-man tag team match. AJ Styles won the match for his team after landing the ‘Phenomenal Forearm’.
— Erick Rowan defeated a local jobber in a squash match.
— Rusev came out and cut a promo. He said he isn’t mad that Bobby Lashley and Lana are getting married. He also said that the best punishment Lashley could ever have is marrying Lana. Rusev ended up facing No Way Jose and picked up a quick victory.
— Rey Mysterio vs Seth Rollins for the U.S Title was the main event. The match ended in a disqualification after AOP interfered and attacked Mysterio. After this, AOP attempted to put Mysterio through the announce table but Samoa Joe wouldn’t move. AOP ended up attacking Joe and putting him through the announce table. Seth hit ‘The Stomp’ on Mysterio to close the show.
