According to a report from PWInsider.com, the WWE is in “Signing Mode” right now. They are being told that WWE is working harder than ever to evaluate and sign a number of stars on the independent scene right now.
WWE has sent a lot of employees to scout talent and are evaluating them on a similar level to what they do for their own shows to see if their stars are improving.
PWInsider says to expect a lot of talent signings from WWE in the early part of 2017.
Other notes from them is that Mickie James, who we announced signed a multi-year deal with WWE, has signed on for 3 years with WWE. Drew Gulak is also now 100% with WWE and no longer taking independent dates. He has been working on 205 Live and occasionally RAW for the past few weeks.
Names that are apparently reporting to the WWE Performance Center on the first week of January 2017:
- Heidi Lovelace,
- Kimber Lee
- Nixon Newell
- Cheree Crowley (aka Evie)
