WWE Reportedly Interested In KUSHIDA And Two Indie Wrestlers

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), three specific wrestlers are currently on WWE’s radar for potential signings.

The name that fans will likely find the most interesting is KUSHIDA. Right now, he works for New Japan Pro Wrestling and is the current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion.

According to Meltzer, KUSHIDA is someone who is on WWE’s radar right now. His name has been coming up a lot over the past few weeks.

KUSHIDA’s contract expires at the end of January and he is currently scheduled for NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom event. There has been an idea pitched for him to potentially join NXT if he were to end up signing with WWE.

Meltzer also says that Rachael Ellering and Karen Q are on WWE’s radar right now.

Karen competed in the Mae Young Classic tournament in 2018. She was defeated by Xia Li in the first round. Ellering competed in both the 2017 and 2018 Mae Young Classic tournaments (under the name Rachel Evers).

The report only says that WWE is interested in them, so nothing is set in stone. We will let you know if their names come up over the next few months.
