WWE Reportedly Polling Fans About Independent Promotions On The WWE Network

There have been a lot of rumors circulating that WWE could be trying to take over the independent wrestling scene. They would do this by airing various indie companies television shows on the WWE Network. This would allow WWE to gain more subscribers and content for themselves. It would also help out the indie companies get more exposure.

According to F4WOnline.com, WWE continues to poll fans about the possibility of streaming different indie companies on the WWE network.

Here is a list of companies from their last survey:

  • Pro Wrestling Guerrilla
  • EVOLVE
  • Ring of Honor
  • Dragon Gate USA
  • Ohio Valley Wrestling
  • All American Wrestling
  • Combat Zone Wrestling
  • Shimmer
  • CHIKARA
  • Full Impact Pro

There have also been rumors that WWE is looking into different pay structures for the Network. Would be pretty cool if the WWE Network was the hub for all things wrestling. We constantly hear how indie companies struggle with TV deals or exposure. This plays the best of both worlds and would help both sides.
