Here is what we learned from the Royal Rumble PPV.
1) Lacey Evans & Ric Flair Showed Up To Screw Over Charlotte Flair
The kickoff show of the event featured a WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match: Asuka and Charlotte Flair vs Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.
During the match, Lacey Evans and Ric Flair showed up to distract Charlotte. Ric handed Lacey brass knuckles, which she used on Charlotte.
2) Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler Are The New Women’s Tag Team Champions
After the distraction from Lacey Evans and Ric Flair, Nia Jax took advantage. She ended up winning the match for her team.
As a result, Nia and Shayna are the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.
3) The Intro Video Was Awesome
The main card of the show opened with an awesome intro video, which called back many great moments from the past.
WWE’s video person always seems to deliver.
