WWE Rumor: Kurt Angle’s Potential Role With WWE After Wrestlemania 33 (Possible Spoiler Warning)

One of the hottest wrestling rumors over the weekend involved Kurt Angle and a potential role for him on WWE TV after Wrestlemania. Kurt Angle has been one of the most talked about individuals in the wrestling world over the past several weeks after he was announced as the headliner for the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class.

Rumors are circulating that Kurt Angle could be the replacement for Mick Foley as RAW General Manager after Wrestlemania 33. This is a rumor and needs to be taken with a grain of salt but would it ever be fantastic.

WWE has been teasing that Mick Foley could  be fired from his role as RAW General Manager over the past few months. We have seen him undergo a ‘Performance Review’ from Stephanie McMahon on RAW. We also saw him tweet that he could be out of a job soon.

As for Angle, WWE is rumored to be looking to use him in a high-profile role on WWE television. The reaction for Angle has been fantastic since he was announced for the WWE Hall of Fame and the company would be silly not to involve him in some way on screen.

Angle as the RAW General Manager could be something very interesting. Angle has played the role on WWE TV before. Back in 2004, he was briefly the on-screen General Manager of Smackdown. Him and Stephanie McMahon have also worked together in the past, making for a fun dynamic and plenty of storyline possibilities.

Unfortunately, it is still unclear if Angle will ever wrestle for WWE but if this turns out to be true, we could be seeing a lot more of him in the near future on our TV’s!
