Ever since Shinsuke Nakamura made his debut last year at NXT Takeover: Dallas, fans have been wondering when he will be given a shot on the WWE’s main roster. Nakamura came into WWE with a ton of hype and hasn’t disappointed so far, having a number of great matches.

So when will Nakamura be getting called up to RAW or Smackdown? Here is what is currently circulating right now on the rumor mill. Note: take rumors with a grain of salt as always since we know Vince McMahon loves to change his mind.
Current rumors suggest Nakamura will be making his debut on the RAW after Wrestlemania 33. As we have learned over the years, sometimes the night after Wrestlemania can be the best show of the weekend. It usually features some surprise returns and debuts.

The reason why it has taken a year for Nakamura to get the call up is because of the learning curve. Not only is Nakamura improving his English, he also had to learn about WWE’s production and all of their unique camera work. During the conference call for NXT Takeover: San Antonio, Triple H said that Nakamura is finally ready:
“He needed to have that experience in order to be successful on that main event roster. And he’s there. Now it’s just a matter of time of when it fits in and when he fits into that, to moving up to that main roster. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when.”

Now it is just finding him a place to fit in. With the rumored Wrestlemania 33 card looking full, WWE will be keeping him for the night after. Expect to see the ‘King of Strong Style’ very soon.

Why the hell another top NXT star moves to Raw after Raw already took Joe, Smackdown needs another top babyface badly when Cena takes time off after Wrestlemania. Can Raw push Nakamura, Roman, Seth, Balor, Sami, Joe, KO, Braun together at the same time.
Not to worry Roman won’t be on Raw…Looks like there going to push him off to make room for HHH’s NXT Roster…there are going to be more…I would change the name Raw to NXT2..i don’t mean that as a joke either!
I think he should be on Smackdown, he would be the best replacement for AJ, since rumors are saying vince wants him on raw. Honestly after the 17′ Draft it should be interesting where the chips fall.
its tough to say where nakamura should end up once he makes his debut. my first inclination is to say smackdown because it is the better show. however, I would love it if RAW were better and I think he could help…. but could he? could he simply be wasted there just like the rest of the show has been a waste? w/ the likes of samoa joe there along w/ rollins (if he could ever get and remain healthy) and fin balor returning soon, KO, etc… there are a lot of possibilities.
I have this strong feeling that vince will steal styles for RAW and ship the romanator over to smackdown, thus killing everything smackdown has going for it. never mind that cena is likely out of the picture again for smackdown after WM.
