WWE Rumor: Wrestlemania 33 Match Card

With the Royal Rumble officially in the books, we are now on the ‘Road To Wrestlemania’. The event teased a lot of potential matches for Wrestlemania 33. Speculation will be at its peak over the next several weeks as Wrestlemania weekend draws closer and closer.

Here is the current Wrestlemania 33 match card according to various rumors and speculation:

Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg***

• Brock Lesnar challenged Goldberg on RAW to a match at the event. It has been rumored for months that this match would be happening.

Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens***

• The storyline has been fantastic between the two best friends. Rumors have them splitting up soon and facing off at ‘Mania.

*** Note: One of these two matches will be for the WWE Universal Championship. 

Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton – WWE World Championship

• Orton won the Royal Rumble and has a guaranteed spot. Rumors (read here) are that Wyatt walks out of Elimination Chamber with the belt, setting this match up.

Triple H vs T.B.D (Possibly Seth Rollins)

• Seth Rollins has been penciled in for the past several months to face Triple H. He was injured on RAW this week and it is unclear if he will be able to compete in time for Wrestlemania (read here). Triple H also reportedly wants to wrestle at the event no matter what (read here). In case Rollins is out, names like: Samoa Joe and Shane McMahon have been tossed around.

Undertaker vs Roman Reigns

• This was teased at the Royal Rumble after Reigns eliminated the Deadman.

Charlotte vs. Bayley vs. Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks – RAW Women’s Championship.

• This has been rumored for a while now. WWE has been building the Bayley vs Charlotte and Nia vs Sasha storylines separately but there have been signs of interaction between the two feuds as of late.

John Cena and Nikki Bella vs The Miz and Maryse

• It is being rumored (read more) that it could be Nikki’s last match and she wants to go out with a Wrestlemania moment with her boyfriend: John Cena.

AJ Styles vs Shane McMahon

• This has been rumored for the past few weeks. A lot of fans have said they are unhappy if WWE goes in this direction with AJ but Vince McMahon does what he wants.

Big Show vs Shaq

• This has been locked in for several months.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

• A way to get some superstars on the card.

This doesn’t include matches for the WWE Intercontinental, United States, Tag Team, Cruiserweight or Smackdown Women’s Championships. It will be interesting to see what happens as the card is already looking full.  A lot of notable names absent, including Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin, Becky Lynch, Braun Strowman etc.. It will be interesting to see what happens.

The card is subject to change, but this is what the show is rumored to look like right now.
