You might have noticed on social media for the past few days that Becky Lynch has been going back and forth with UFC fighter: Cris Cyborg. This seemed at first like it was just something that was done for fun…. but could this actually be leading to something happening at Summerslam between the two?
From an article on WWE.com, the company teases the possibility of a match happening between Becky and Cyborg:
“Becky Lynch doesn’t officially have an opponent for SummerSlam quite yet, but another former champion has thrown down the gauntlet for what would be a dream bout at The Biggest Event of the Summer”
From Dave Meltzer’s daily update on f4wonline.com, he says that it appears to be a tease for something:
“The company is pushing some sort of a tease of Cris Cyborg with Becky Lynch at SummerSlam. It’s clearly something worked out between the two of them which the company is involved with”
