Rumors Of The Day (February 24, 2018)
– There have been some rumors floating around about there being plans in place for a Dean Ambrose heel turn prior to his injury. Dave Meltzer only speculated on the topic in the latest Wrestling Observer (subscribe here). He says that a heel turn made sense for Dean when looking at potential post-Wrestlemania opponents for Roman Reigns.
– Matt Hardy is the betting favorite (-210) to defeat Bray Wyatt (+160) At the Elimination Chamber.
– Meltzer also says that Jinder Mahal looks like he will be added to the match between Bobby Roode and Randy Orton at Fastlane. This would make it a triple threat for the United States Title.
– If WWE chooses to do this, it looks like they will save Orton vs Roode for Wrestlemania 34.
