Rumors Of The Day (February 28, 2018)

– According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, the Roman Reigns promo on RAW wasn’t in the script but “the majority of the verbiage was approved”.

– Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio says that WWE has scrapped the plans for Braun Strowman vs the Miz at Wrestlemania 34. That was the Intercontinental Title match that was rumored several weeks ago. Here is what he said (h/t to Ringside News):

“It’s pretty clear that they will be doing The Miz and Seth Rollins and probably Finn Balor in a three-way, which takes Strowman out and Strowman is obviously the backup plan in case something happens.”

– Meltzer was asked on Twitter when Jeff Hardy will be returning to WWE Television and if he will return as his ‘Brother Nero’ character. Meltzer’s response to the two questions was: “Soon and probably”.

– Dana White was recently asked about the odds of Brock Lesnar fighting again. His response was “they’re very, very, very good.”
