Rumors Of The Day (February 5th, 2018):
– In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer says that the women’s Rumble winner came down to Asuka or Nia Jax.
– It is looking like Samoa Joe won’t be back until mid-March based on WWE live event advertisements.
– On Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer says that it looks like Tyler Bate has fallen out of favor with WWE. A few months ago WWE called him in late for a tour but he had other plans. Bate has now lost three straight WWE matches in the past week or so.

– Jason Jordan didn’t work live events again this weekend. As noted prior, he is dealing with a neck injury.
