– According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Ronda Rousey’s debut has led to more mainstream coverage than any other WWE event in recent years. A number of major media outlets will be covering Ronda’s involvement in the show. Meltzer specifically mentions ESPN and Fox Sports as being ones with extremely high interest this year.

– Jason Jordan is now being advertised for WWE live events in May, indicating a timeframe for his return.

– Another interesting note from Meltzer. He says that Bayley was already supposed to have turned heel by now. She was originally scheduled to team with Elias against Nikki Bella and John Cena at WWE’s live event at Madison Square Garden. Bayley was replaced by Sonya Deville. Meltzer says that the original plans were for Bayley to be a heel by this point when the card was first announced. It is unclear if the heel turn has been scrapped or if it is just being delayed.
