Paige was injured at a WWE live event a few weeks back. This came during a 6-woman tag team match at WWE’s live event in Uniondale. We haven’t heard much about the injury so far.
What we do know is that Paige hasn’t been cleared to return to the ring yet. On RAW this past week, she was at ringside for the Women’s tag team match but didn’t get involved at all.
We have an update and it isn’t good news.
According to PWInsider Elite, it is looking like Paige won’t be cleared in time for the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
The original belief was that she suffered a stinger when the injury first happened. It turns out that the injury is worse than they thought.
We will let you know if that changes over the next few weeks leading to the event. Certainly, a bummer for both Paige and fans if that turns out to be the case.
