Ronda Rousey appeared at the end of the Women’s Royal Rumble match on Sunday night. She walked by Charlotte Flair, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss before pointing at the Wrestlemania sign. She also gave Stephanie McMahon a handshake before walking to the back.
After her appearance at the Rumble, news broke that she had signed a full-time deal with WWE.
So what are the plans for Ronda at Wrestlemania 34?
According to Dave Meltzer in his article for MMA Fighting, WWE is trying to put together a tag team match for Ronda at the event.
“According to sources in WWE, the company is attempting to put together a match with Rousey teaming with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson against Stephanie McMahon and Paul “HHH” Levesque for WrestleMania on April 8 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans”
This would obviously be some continuation from what happened at Wrestlemania 31. Ronda joined the Rock to confront Triple H and Stephanie at the event.
While saying that, there is no word on if the Rock has agreed to the match yet according to Meltzer. A tag team match would likely be the best way to protect her for the first match of her career.
