Original Plans For Breezango’s Attackers

The story of Breezango’s attackers has been told for the past several months on episodes of the ‘Fashion Files’. After Tyler Breeze and Fandango were originally attacked, fans still haven’t learned who were the perpetrators of the crime.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), we know who the original attackers were planned to be.

Breezango’s Attackers

Dave Meltzer says that there are people in WWE that have said the plan for the storyline was to be Luke Harper and Erick Rowan as the attackers. They both haven’t been used on WWE television over the past several months.

It is unclear if that is where the current storyline will be heading when (or if) WWE decides to reveal the attackers, but that seemed to be the original plan when the storyline was first developed.

Also, it was reported about a month ago that there were plans for Harper and Rowan to be repackaged. The idea was to get Harper and Rowan out of the shadow of the Wyatt Family and turn them into different characters. The reason would be that fans associate them with being Wyatt Family members and now that they are without Bray Wyatt, it puts them in an awkward spot. A repackage would allow them to find their own identities moving forward.

We will have to see what happens with Harper and Rowan moving forward. They still could end up being the attackers when it is all said and done with completely new gimmicks.

According to an episode of the Fashion Files from a few weeks ago, hints pointed towards the reveal potentially being related to the Authors of Pain.
