As seen on Monday Night RAW this week, Sasha Banks attacked Bayley in the locker room. The two brawled before being separated. Tension has been teased between the two friends over the past several months on RAW and it finally reached its boiling point.
We have a rumor to pass your way in regards to the Sasha and Bayley storyline.
According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Forum (subscribe here), Bayley was originally supposed to be the one who turned heel.
Here are the original plans for the Sasha and Bayley storyline according to Meltzer (via Wrestling News):
“Bayley was scheduled to turn. The MSG card had her teaming with Elias vs. Cena & Nikki right until the decision was made to hold up the turn. It wasn’t a red herring, it was a plan written for a turn by that date that they changed. It appeared Banks did the turn however. Plans like that change weekly. The Banks heel turn was scheduled well before the 2017 Mania at first.”
