Large Amount Of Title Changes Planned For Wrestlemania 33?

We are only a few weeks out from Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando, Florida. There are still some major questions surrounding the show and how the card will end up shaping up. WWE usually has some tricks up their sleeve for Wrestlemania and this year will likely be no different.

Something that is floating around the web regarding Wrestlemania is that there could be a high number of title changes at the event. We usually see some titles change hands on the ‘Grandest Stage Of Them All’ but this year could see more than we are typically used to.

According to Billi Bhatti of  “The Dirty Sheets” podcast, there are 5 title changes set in stone right now to take place at Wrestlemania 33. According to him there was even more planned but WWE wanted to keep it at a more reasonable number and changed their minds.

Last year at Wrestlemania 32 we only saw 3 title changes. Zack Ryder won the Intercontinental Title, Charlotte won the inaugural Women’s Championship and Roman Reigns won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Triple H.

With the brand split we saw numerous titles created, giving WWE a total of 9 that could be defended at the event. It is unclear right now if every title will be defended on the show or if one or two will get cut for other matches on the card.

We won’t know until after Wrestlemania (obviously) but something to keep an eye out for at the event.

Let us know what you think in the comment section below. If this turns out to be true, which titles do you think will change hands at the event? We want to hear from you.
