Two Impact Wrestling Stars Could Be On Their Way To WWE

In a previous article, we noted that there were rumors of a few Impact Wrestling stars leaving when their guaranteed contracts expire. Also, it was reported that WWE had interest in signing Impact Wrestling star: Eddie Edwards for NXT.

It looks like two other Impact names could also be WWE bound when their contracts expire.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), the expectation is that both Bobby Lashley and Ethan Carter III will be leaving Impact when their contracts expire. It was reported last week that their deals were “close to expiring”.

Meltzer also adds that one, if not both will likely end up in WWE after they do leave Impact.

Carter had a few cups of coffee with WWE. This includes participating in Season 4 of NXT as ‘Derrick Bateman’.

Lashley appeared on WWE television from 2005 until 2008. He won the ECW Championship twice and also the United States Title. A lot of fans have fantasy booked a potential Lashley vs Brock Lesnar match based on their MMA backgrounds.

Which of these two names would you like to see in WWE? If they both do sign, where would you place them on the current roster?
