Who will the Undertaker face-off against at Wrestlemania is a yearly question that wrestling fans have asked for the past decade. This year is no different as we head into 2017, only a few months out from the big event. It is also unclear if this will be the Undertaker’s final Wrestlemania, which seems to be speculated upon every year by fans.

The biggest match being speculated for the Undertaker at Wrestlemania is John Cena. This is a match that has been wanted by fans for a number of years now. Many believe that it is the perfect (and maybe final) chance for these two icons to wrestle on the grandest stage of them all. There was even a tiny tease on this weeks episode of Smackdown Live where fans chanted: “Undertaker” at Cena and he responded by saying a lot of people are speculating on his future.
In the latest F4WOnline.com Daily Update, Dave Meltzer says that match between Undertaker and Cena is listed as probably and still not confirmed 100%. It is listed as probable because Vince McMahon hasn’t decided yet if he wants to pull the trigger on the match.
The Undertaker is an early betting favorite for the 2017 Royal Rumble. If Cena wins the title from AJ Styles, the Undertaker winning the Rumble would set this match up for Wrestlemania. Possibly even a title vs career match (but that is only speculation by us).

There are also some rumors that Vince McMahon wants to see the Undertaker vs Roman Reigns in a similar title vs career match (Reigns would win the WWE Universal Title at the Rumble). The reason for this is because Vince wants to use the Undertaker match to put over a younger star. Since he thinks Reigns is Cena 2.0, he would fill that role.
There is also the chance that Undertaker costs Cena the match at the Rumble, setting up this match without the title involved.
It will be interesting to see what happens at the Rumble. Who else would love to see a title vs career match between the Undertaker and Cena? Think it would be a great way to end a storied career like ‘Taker.
