Here are some of our predictions for this week’s episode of Smackdown.
7) The ‘Tag Team Summit’ Will Lead To A Big Brawl
WWE has confirmed that there will be a ‘tag team summit’ on this week’s episode of Smackdown Live. This segment will include the New Day, Heavy Machinery, Daniel Bryan, and Rowan.
A safe guess is that this segment is going to lead to a big brawl between all three of these teams.
This would make sense as all three teams will be facing off at Extreme Rules for the Smackdown Tag Team belts. This way, it gives the feud a bit of energy heading into Sunday night.
6) Finn Balor vs Shinsuke Nakamura Will End Via Disqualification
WWE is giving us a non-title match on the episode between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura.
My guess is that this match is going to end in a disqualification or a count-out. Something that keeps both guys looking strong.
I would be surprised to see a clean finish here, especially being so close to Extreme Rules.
5) Finn Balor vs Shinsuke Nakamura Will Be Added To The Extreme Rules Card
After their non-title match ends in disqualification or count-out, I think that WWE will make the rematch official for the PPV.
I think that it will be Finn Balor vs Shinsuke Nakamura at Extreme Rules, with the Intercontinental Title on the line this time.
Would be a shame if WWE doesn’t give us Nakamura vs Balor on PPV. It could be really good if they gave the match enough time.
