Here is what we learned from Smackdown this week.
1) WWE Showed A Great Video Of Kofi Kingston Returning To Ghana
Smackdown this week kicked off with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. During this segment, WWE aired a great video of Kofi’s recent trip to his home country of Ghana.
This was really cool and helped show how much Kofi has accomplished in his career.
2) Dolph Ziggler Is Apparently A Member Of The RAW Roster
Dolph Ziggler ended up interrupting Kofi Kingston’s speech. When he was introduced, the graphic that showed his name listed him as a RAW Superstar.
I guess Ziggler is a RAW Superstar moving forward? That was definitely a bit weird.
3) Kofi Kingston And Xavier Woods Won The Opening Match Of The Night
The first match of the night was Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods vs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Kofi won the match for his team after pinning Sami Zayn. This came after he hit ‘Trouble In Paradise’.
