We are still several weeks away from Summerslam weekend in Brooklyn. The weekend will feature the 3rd straight NXT Takeover Brooklyn event followed by Summerslam the next night.

With still a few weeks to go before the event, lets speculate on who could be getting called up to the WWE main roster in the next few months. Warning: This post will contain some spoilers from NXT Television.
Asuka – The most obvious choice here. Nothing left for her to prove in NXT. She could drop the title at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn or she could vacate it instead. Regardless, we think it will happen prior to Wrestlemania 34 next year.
Bobby Roode – Bobby hasn’t been NXT champion for too long but he is 40 years old. Might be time to drop the belt and make his way to the main roster. He will face Drew McIntyre at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III and this could easily spell the end of his title reign.
Billie Kay and Peyton Royce – I enjoy their work together and think they could be a solid addition to the WWE main roster. With all the talent coming in from the Mae Young Classic, they could get called up soon. I think the ‘iconic duo’ could be fun on RAW or Smackdown Live.
There were also rumors that Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas was supposed to get called up after Wrestlemania but this never ended up happening. Looks like plans changed on him.
