We have an update on a Superstar potentially returning to WWE soon. It is unclear if it will happen at the Rumble or in the next several weeks.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), Bobby Lashley is no longer negotiating with New Japan Pro Wrestling and will be returning to WWE soon.
Meltzer says that everybody in Impact Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling expects Lashley to be in WWE soon. Meltzer doesn’t know if it will happen at the Royal Rumble or over the next several weeks.
He also says that there is a rumor going around that Lashley will work with Brock Lesnar later this year.

Lashley worked with WWE from 2005 until 2008. He has found success in both Mixed Martial Arts and for Impact Wrestling since leaving the company.
