Here is a list of Superstars who could leave WWE before 2020 is over.
5) Rey Mysterio
Rey Mysterio signed a 2-year contract with WWE back in September of 2018. Where this gets interesting is that he reportedly has an out in his contract after 18 months. That means he could theoretically leave WWE around March (2020).
Even if Rey doesn’t choose to leave in March, I could still see him leaving in September when his contract expires. Rey is getting older and has accomplished a lot in his career. It is definitely not out of the question that Rey simply chooses to retire after his contract expires. He has mentioned in interviews that this could be his final contract.
There is also the off-chance that Rey could want to test himself in AEW before he hangs up the boots. I am sure that his good buddy, Chris Jericho, would push for Rey to join him.
Either way, I could definitely see Rey leaving WWE television by the end of 2020.
4) Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado)
Three people who could leave WWE in 2020 is all three members of Lucha House Party. This all started with a Tweet from Kalisto from back in August. He Tweeted “10 months…#freeagent” (which has since been deleted). Gran Metalik responded by saying “Me too carnal”.
This obviously seems like a major hint that Lucha House Party is thinking about leaving WWE when their contracts expire in the Summer.
It is hard to blame them either. They haven’t really done much since being put together as a trio. I am not sure if AEW would have any interest in them but I could definitely see them leaving. They are three talented dudes.
