The WWE recently released a video titled: ‘5 Superstars we want to see John Cena face’. This could just be fantasy booking or it could become reality before Cena officially hangs up the boots for good. Below is the list of stars the WWE teases, followed by the video.

John Cena vs Samoa Joe.
- The two trained together in California-based promotion: UPW back in the early 2000’s. Cena got scooped right up by the WWE where Joe took the long route, wrestling for various promotions before signing with WWE a couple of years ago.
John Cena vs Shinsuke Nakamura.
- They say the differentiating styles between John Cena and the ‘King of Strong Style’ would be too good to pass up.
John Cena vs Finn Balor
- Even though they are on separate brands, it is only a matter of time before their paths cross.
John Cena vs Shane McMahon
- Have only faced each other in tag team action. Could the time be right for them to go 1 on 1?
John Cena vs The Undertaker
- Mutual respect between the two. The WWE Universe really wants to see these two collide at Wrestlemania before they both hang up the boots.
