Vince McMahon said in the recent earnings call that WWE stars switching brands is a way to keep both RAW and Smackdown fresh. This had many fans wondering about potential trades that could happen after Wrestlemania 33 has concluded.
WWE.com recently posted an article that teases 5 trades between RAW and Smackdown Live. This would provide both rosters with a shot in the arm and fresh match-ups for fans to enjoy.
Here are the 5 trades that WWE teased:
1) Brock Lesnar for John Cena
2) Seth Rollins for The Miz and Maryse
3) The New Day for American Alpha
4) Sami Zayn for Luke Harper
5) Chris Jericho for Dean Ambrose
Our Take: I actually would love to see all 5 of these happen. Would provide plenty of new matches for both brands. Imagine a Brock Lesnar vs AJ Styles clash? How about Luke Harper getting away from the Wyatt Family and getting a chance to shine on his own?
With Vince’s comments and the WWE posting this, we have to assume that trades are going to come eventually.
