The WWE recently released a video titled ‘5 Facts That You Didn’t Know About The Shield’. Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns have all had successful singles careers (as you all know) after the Shield Disbanded. The Shield in their short time became one of the most popular Factions in WWE history. Time will tell if the ‘Hounds Of Justice’ will ever get back together! below is the facts by WWE. 1) Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns all did the voice over work for their entrance theme. Sierra – Rollins, Hotel – Ambrose, India – Reigns, Echo – Rollins, Lima – Ambrose, Delta – Reigns. It is from the NATO phonetic alphabet.
2)The Shield is undefeated as a unit at Wrestlemania but each member has lost a singles match at WretleMania. Reigns lost at WrestleMania 31 when Seth Rollins cashed in during his match against Brock Lesnar. Dean Ambrose lost at Wrestlemania 31 in the Intercontinental Ladder match and against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 32. Seth Rollins lost at Wrestlemania 31 to Randy Orton before cashing in his briefcase later that night.
3)Roman Reigns has never beaten John Cena, but he has also never faced him 1 on 1. Ambrose and Rollins have both beaten Cena.
4)Rollins was the first member of the Shield to be pinned or submitted. He tapped to Daniel Bryan on Smackdown back in 2013. He is also the first member to technically defeat Brock Lesnar with his cash-in last year at Wrestlemania 31.
5)The only major wins that the members of the Shield haven’t accomplished are King of the Ring, Elimination Chamber and a Grand Slam.
