Backstage WrestleMania 32 Notes – Shane McMahon, Zack Ryder, Seth Rollins

Backstage WrestleMania

According to a report by WrestlingInc, Shane McMahon was in rough shape backstage after his epic jump during the Hell in a Cell match against the Undertaker. Shane received a lot of medical attention after putting his body on the line. This was likely for pre-cautionary purposes. He is obviously okay considering he was able to appear on RAW the next night, but you can imagine he is probably VERY sore after that crazy but amazing jump.

The report also says that everyone backstage popped for Zack Ryder winning the Intercontinental Championship in the ladder match. This means that Ryder is likely very respected backstage as a guy who has payed his dues with the company. Always great to see a hard worker rewarded with a moment like that (Even though he lost the title the very next night). Regardless of how the WWE books him moving forward, they can never take away that moment!

Seth Rollins was seen limping backstage as he recovers from his knee injury. If you haven’t heard, Seth is set to appear in a WWE Studios movie that begins filming soon. We have heard conflicting reports on his return time. Some as early as May and others in June. Hopefully it is May! Can’t wait for him to be back in the ring and going after the title he never lost. Watching the event this year must have been painful for him, considering he would have been in one of the main event matches and marquee spots!

Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant was backstage at WrestleMania 32. I was surprised we didn’t actually see any cowboys players get involved in the event. We did see the Cowboys cheerleaders for the Rock’s entrance but that was about it. I was expecting a run-in with at least one player!
