As a WWE fan, you are probably familiar with the ‘hometown curse’. Whenever WWE stars wrestle in their hometowns, they usually end up losing. We saw it this past week when AJ Styles was defeated by Dolph Ziggler in Atlanta.
Luke Harper was recently interviewed by the Democrat & Chronicle newspaper. This was to promote Smackdown Live that will take place in Rochester this upcoming Tuesday.
Rochester is the hometown of Harper. He mentions in the interview that he has plenty of friends and family coming to the show on Tuesday.
Here is what he had to say about the hometown curse (where he is 0 for 3 in his career):
“I know about (the curse), and I feel that. I actually had a really great match with Dolph Ziggler here that I thought I should have won and I didn’t. That really sticks in my craw. It’s something I think about … but it’s nothing that’s in my control.”
I wouldn’t be placing too many bets on Harper winning a match on Tuesday…..
