6) You Can’t Sleep On Vince McMahon’s Plane (Unless He Is Asleep Or You Are A Wrestler)
Former WWE star Taz was interviewed by Sports Illustrated to promote his radio show: “The Taz Show: Bodyslams and Beyond,”
He revealed an interesting tidbit about travelling with Vince on a plane. If you are not a wrestler or if Vince is still awake, you are not allowed to sleep on his plane:
“I’ve seen Triple H fall asleep on the plane, and it wasn’t a problem. I fell asleep on that plane many a time and it wasn’t a problem. If you took some bumps and you fell asleep, it was no problem. If you’re a writer or a play-by-play announcer, it was going to be a problem. It was never mean-spirited, it was like high school with money. It was fun.”
Certainly an interesting human being.
5) Vince Has Very Few Hobbies Outside Of Wrestling
Vince McMahon has spent his life building WWE into the empire that it is today. As you can imagine, his life has been consumed by wrestling and the company that he has built. This has left little room for outside hobbies.
On an episode of Cheap Heat, Mark Henry had this to say about his boss and his lack of hobbies:
“He just doesn’t have interest in nothing but wrestling. And when you’re a billionaire and your sole interest is trying to become a multi-billionaire, then you don’t have time to just sit around and watch college football.”
Wrestling has always been life for Vince.
