6) Botched Finish

The match between Jinder Mahal and Big Cass featured a pretty big botch that you might have noticed at the end of the match.

Big Cass was going for his finisher, the East River Crossing. It is usually a very slick sit-out swinging side-slam. As you can see in the video below, the move was botched:

This forced Big Cass to use the Empire Elbow for the finish, something he doesn’t use to end matches. A good change-up on the fly, but there was clearly a mistake made. I am not sure who deserves the blame for what happened, all I know is that it was a pretty big botch.
