5) Nia Almost Committed Murder On Sasha

The first match of the night was between Sasha Banks and Nia Jax. The winner would move on to face Alexa Bliss at Summerslam. During the match, we witnessed Nia Jax almost commit murder.

Nia slammed Sasha’s head into the barricade. Sasha was okay, but did it ever look brutal. You can watch it here:

Not sure how she doesn’t have a concussion as that looked nasty. It was a very physical and solid match.

6) RAW Women’s Title Match Was Confirmed (+Sasha Broke The Hometown Curse)

The match was eventually won by Sasha Banks after she forced Nia to tap out with the ‘Bank Statement’. As a result, the RAW Women’s Championship match is confirmed for Summerslam.

Alexa Bliss will be defending her RAW Women’s Title against Sasha Banks. Tons of bad blood between them so this should be a lot of fun:

Sasha also broke the hometown curse as this match was in Boston! We don’t often see wrestlers get to win in their hometowns!
