5 Mistakes That WWE Should Avoid Making At Summerslam

Here are some of the mistakes that I think WWE should avoid making at Summerslam.

Mistake #5: Not Using ‘Retribution’ Throughout The Entire PPV

Over the past few weeks, WWE has generated some intrigue with their new faction, ‘Retribution’. I think that it will be a mistake if WWE does not use this faction throughout the entire PPV.

What I mean by that is have them cause havoc for the entire show. They should attack Superstars (who aren’t on the card) in the parking lot or in the backstage area. They could also tell a story where several Superstars are trying to keep them out of the Performance Center for the entire night.

I loved it when WWE would tell stories from beginning to end during PPV events back in the ‘Attitude Era’. Using this new faction throughout the show would be a way to recreate something similar. If not, it will feel like a missed opportunity.

Mistake #4: The Fiend Loses To Braun Strowman

The Fiend will be facing off against Braun Strowman at Summerslam. This will be for the Universal Championship. I think that it would be a mistake for The Fiend to lose this match.

I think that it makes the most sense for The Fiend to win here to become the new Champion. The Fiend is a character who I think should be protected and I don’t want to see him lose. If he does, it would feel like they are just burying The Fiend character to give Braun another win.

I have also found Braun’s Title reign to be a bit boring. I will not be upset if he drops the belt.
