Mistake #3: Randy Orton vs Drew McIntyre Is Not The Main Event
WWE has officially confirmed a match between Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre for Summerslam. This will be for the WWE Championship. I think that it would be a mistake for WWE to not have this match be the main event of the PPV.
There is nobody on fire in WWE like Randy Orton. He is doing some of the best work of his career, which is saying a lot for him. Drew McIntyre is also doing some great work as WWE Champion and the feud has been fun so far. To me, this is the match that I am most excited to see and one where I have no clue how WWE will book it.
Orton vs McIntyre is the biggest match on the card and should be the main event.
Mistake #2: We Get Another Screwy Finish During Asuka vs Sasha Banks
Asuka and Sasha Banks will be facing off at Summerslam for the RAW Women’s Championship. I think that it would be a mistake for this match to have a screwy finish.
Their match at Extreme Rules was really good but was soured a bit after Bayley interfered and became the referee. Their match on RAW a few weeks later was also really good but it ended via countout after Bayley was attacking Kairi Sane backstage. WWE has done two screwy finishes already and it is time for one of them to win clean.
Asuka and Sasha have already proven that they have some awesome chemistry. I am hoping that they will be able to put on a fun match without any outside distractions this time.
If there is no outside interference, I think that this has a chance to be one of the best matches of the year.
