It has been over a decade since Toronto has gotten a WWE PPV. The last time was Unforgiven in 2006 where the main event featured John Cena vs Edge for the WWE Championship in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match.

Toronto is known to be a very passionate and loud crowd. WWE brass has reportedly labelled Toronto as ‘Bizzaro World’ in the past because the audience always cheers on the heels instead of the intended babyfaces.
WWE has certainly attempted to make up for the decade long absence. Toronto fans have three straight nights of WWE action with: NXT Takeover, Survivor Series and RAW.
The question is, how loud will the Air Canada Center crowd be after a decade long absence?
I am thinking that NXT Takeover starts off the weekend with a bang (like they usually do), putting on an amazing show. Survivor Series has a solid build this year and feels like it means something. WWE has built a solid card that fans can get behind.
Hoping for an entertaining crowd that makes a ton of noise, adding to what should be an incredible atmosphere. It will be interesting to monitor how loud the Toronto crowd is on Sunday and how rowdy the Canadian fans get for the big event!
