Tye Dillinger and Bobby Roode joined forces for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic to the delight of many fans. They formed the ‘Glorious 10’ team that were early contenders to win the whole thing.
This didn’t turn out to be the case. During their first round match against Alexander Wolfe & Sawyer Fulton of SAnitY, Dillinger looked to make a tag to Roode. Roode walked out on Dillinger, leaving him alone to take a beating and lose the match.
This sent these two on a collision course for NXT Takeover: Toronto. Both guys are Canadian (more specifically, from Ontario) and should receive incredible reactions from their hometown crowd.
I expect this to open the show and kick it off with a bang. Both guys are loved by the crowd and I expect it to be very LOUD for this one. Both guys are very talented and will try to be the match of the night.
As for a prediction, I think Bobby Roode is on the fast track to becoming the next NXT Champion. A win here will help solidify that. Expect a standing ovation for Dillinger in a losing effort.
