The finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic to honor the memory of the late ‘American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes. Newcomers TM61 will take on the Authors of Pain in what should be an entertaining affair.
The Author of Pain’s manager, Paul Ellering will be suspended above the ring in a cage, paying homage to the ‘Last Battle of Atlanta’.
TM61 have had a tough road to the tournament finals, defeating Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss, Austin Aries & Roderick Strong and SAnitY to earn their spot. The Authors of Pain on the other hand have walked all over everyone on route to the finals.
I think it is too early for TM61 to get a win here. They are relatively new, but just being in this tournament final will be great for their career moving forward. I think they will put up a fight, making a lot of new fans in the process. The Authors of Pain will prove to be too much, winning the tournament.
