Mickie James steps foot inside a WWE ring for the first time since 2010. She has found success in various other promotions since leaving the company and will be looking to remind fans how good she is on Saturday night.
Asuka has been dominating everyone since joining NXT over a year ago. She has dominated the Women’s division and will be faced with the task of the veteran challenger in James.
I love this match because it allows for some of the other Women on NXT’s roster to develop before they are thrown into a high-profile match before they are ready. Mickie is also a big name for wrestling fans to get excited about to see her wrestle again for the company.
As for a prediction, I think the match will be excellent. Mickie will impress the crowd like she always seems to do. Asuka will put on another strong performance. I just can’t see her losing to Mickie in what could be a one-off appearance with WWE.
I expect Asuka to hold onto the belt but after she gets tested by Mickie!
