The Miz Passes A Big Intercontinental Championship Milestone

The Miz has come a long way since his WWE debut over a decade ago. He is a former WWE Champion. He is also on a short list of WWE’s Grand Slam winners under the new format. Would you have guessed that when he first came into WWE in 2006? Don’t think many would have.

The Miz is the current Intercontinental Champion and just passed another big milestone with the title.

The Miz has now passed the Honky Tonk Man for combined days holding the Intercontinental Championship. This now ranks him 3rd on the list of longest reigning Intercontinental Champions. The Intercontinental Championship has a rich history in WWE, so this is certainly one heck of an accomplishment.

Ahead of him still is Pedro Morales at 619 days and Don Muraco at 541 days. The Miz is at 456 days as of writing this so he still has ways to go to become number one but it is certainly not unreasonable to think he could do it.

The Miz took to Twitter to comment on the achievement:

5 WWE records that will NEVER be broken.

Congratulations to the Miz. We have to think that he will become number one before his career is over.
