Survivor Series is only a few days away. As of writing this, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn both do not have a match scheduled for the event. Both lost their qualifying matches to join Team Smackdown Live in the elimination match. Their absence from the card is surprising, due to their heavy involvement in the main event storyline with Shane McMahon over the past several weeks.

If they don’t have a match on the main card of Survivor Series, this marks the end of a lengthy streak for Owens.
Cageside Seats has been keeping track of WWE stars who have been wrestling the most consecutive pay-per-view events. Kickoff show matches DO NOT count, their match had to have been on the main card. Also, brand-exclusive events for the other show don’t count against you (so not wrestling on a RAW exclusive show doesn’t count against Smackdown stars and vice-versa).
Owens has wrestled on the main card of 29 straight Pay-Per-View events. This means that he has wrestled on the main card of every Pay-Per-View that he has been eligible for since his main roster debut in 2015.
The next longest streak is AJ Styles at 21 straight events, followed by Cesaro at 13 straight. Both guys have matches on the main card of Survivor Series.
