Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Future Wrestlemania Location
Over the weekend, WWE announced the locations for the next three Wrestlemania events. 37 will be taking place in Tampa Bay, 38 will be taking place in Dallas, and 39 will be taking place in Los Angeles.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Las Vegas was a name that was kicked around as a possible Wrestlemania location. This is one to watch out for over the next few years.
“Everyone expected Los Angeles to be this year, and they moved it, and then it was gonna be Las Vegas, maybe Vegas will get the year after.”
My Take:
- A Vegas Wrestlemania would be amazing. That would be one hell of a week for any wrestling fan.
4) Drew McIntyre Update
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Drew McIntyre is expected to make his return on next week’s episode of RAW (January 25th). This will be the final episode of RAW prior to the Royal Rumble.
This comes after the news last week that Drew tested positive for COVID-19.
My Take:
- Good timing for WWE as they still need to build towards Drew vs Goldberg at the Royal Rumble. This gives them one week to do that before their match.
