One of the biggest stories in the wrestling world over the past week was the recent hack of Paige. A number of explicit photos and videos of her were leaked onto the web last week. Paige confirmed the leak, saying that the photos and videos were shared without her consent.

We posted prior about Paige’s parents posting a very sad update on her well-being after the recent scandal. As you can imagine, it is a difficult situation to deal with.
For the first time since the news broke, Paige’s fiance: Alberto Del Rio (aka El Patron) has spoken. He cancelled his appearance at the upcoming Wrestlecon event to be with Paige in this difficult time.
Here was his statement:
“Due to the invasion of our privacy, I need to be home with the person that needs me more at the moment and our family. Thanks for your support and I’ll be seeing you next time.”

A bummer for fans attending the event but in this case, we need to think about the well-being of Paige. We sincerely hope that she is able to move past this and continue on her life and career. She has an incredible amount of potential.
