This week on RAW, Roman Reigns had the chance to take some shots at John Cena, (who wasn’t on the show due to him being in China for WWE’s live event the night prior). Reigns had an interesting name drop, mentioning former WWE superstar: Alex Riley. Here is what Reigns said on RAW:
“Do I look like a jacked up white guy with a giant head and a military crew cut? If I did, I wouldn’t have a career here, you don’t believe me, ask Alex Riley about that”.
For some context, there have been rumors for years that Riley and Cena had issues. Riley himself was interviewed and didn’t go into detail but said an incident with Cena changed his career. Former WWE star Ryback also told the story of Cena burying Riley backstage during his matches. It is unclear what exactly happened between them, but it seems like there was certainly a big issue.
Riley tweeted something after RAW that is left open to your interpretation. Clearly a response to getting name-dropped though since he tagged WWE:

Still waiting for that Alex Riley book or shoot interview where he tells his side of the story..
