There have been a few surprises already in the WWE Cruiserweight Title tournament. The biggest has been NXT’s Roderick Strong defeating Hideo Itami in the first round.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that there is some talk Lio Rush could be involved in the tournament.
Hearing from a source who has been reliable in the past that there’s been talk of putting Lio Rush in the 205 Live cruiserweight tournament.

Rush made headlines a few months ago when he made an ill-advised tweet following Emma’s release from WWE. He received a ton of backlash from WWE stars, including Bray Wyatt.
Will be interesting to see if it happens.
