We are getting very close to the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match. The match will have the same rules as the Men’s. This includes 30 competitors and the winner earning a title shot at Wrestlemania.
With that in mind, WWE is going to have to bring in extra talent to help fill the match. Some will be surprise returns. Others will be call-ups from NXT.
So how many NXT Participants should you expect?
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), Dave Meltzer reports that NXT Superstars have been told that there will be 9 participants from NXT in the match.
The decision of which 9 Superstars has reportedly not yet been decided.
The remaining spots will be filled by surprise returns. We have some spoilers on two names expected in the match, which you can check out here.
