Backstage News On The Plans For Three WWE Documentaries To Be Filmed At Wrestlemania

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), WWE is planning to shoot three documentaries on Wrestlemania 34 weekend in New Orleans.

Here are the plans for the documentaries that will be filmed.

– The first documentary is one that you probably could have guessed. WWE typically shoots a WWE 24 episode about the specific Wrestlemania. This always features tons of backstage footage. This has been the case for the previous few Wrestlemania events. The current plan is for another one to happen this year for 34 in New Orleans.

– Meltzer says that WWE is also planning a documentary on the Undertaker’s comeback. Although it hasn’t been announced yet as of writing this, Undertaker is expected to face John Cena at the event. This would presumably focus on the Undertaker training and his thoughts on returning to the ring (but that is only speculation from us).

– The last documentary mentioned by Meltzer is one that will focus on the debut of Ronda Rousey. Wrestlemania 34 will be her first match with the world watching. Should be interesting to see backstage footage of Ronda training and her emotions heading into and after the event.

Also, WWE will apparently be shooting several Table for 3 episodes over that weekend. There has apparently been a pitch for Rousey to appear in one of these.

Which one of these are you most excited for?
