Backstage Note On Triple H’s Role After The News That NXT Is Moving To The USA Network

It was announced on Tuesday morning that NXT will be officially moving to the USA Network. This will be starting on September 18th and the show will be shifting to two hours.

After this news broke, fans have become concerned about the future of NXT. Specifically, fans are wondering if Vince McMahon will be taking the reigns over from Triple H.

According to a report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, NXT won’t be changing much with the move. Here is what Satin wrote:

”Sources tell us despite speculation, the current plan is for NXT to remain as the same show it’s been for years and that moving to USA Network was only done to get more eyes on the product

Bottom line, if you’re worried about losing the workrate heavy product that’s been spearheaded by Triple H for years … don’t be”

My Take: I hope that Triple H gets to remain as the guy in charge. He has done an awesome job over the past few years and I don’t want to see NXT become another version of RAW or Smackdown. We will have to wait and see. This news makes me hopeful but I am still skeptical.
