News broke back in October that Neville had walked out of WWE. In November, it was reported that there were some positive talks between him and WWE. Now that we are in January, we are still without Neville on WWE programming.
We have an update on Neville and his status with WWE.
Unfortunately, it is bad news for those who want to see him back.
On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), Dave Meltzer says that Neville still wants his release from WWE.
The belief is that WWE will make Neville wait out the rest of his contract and won’t release him.
There was a report several weeks ago that suggested Neville was close to returning but to the Smackdown Live roster instead of the Cruiserweight division. Those plans reportedly fell through.
Looks like unless something big happens, he won’t be returning to the company.
