Becky Lynch was recently a guest on The Bellas podcast. During this, she ended up sharing an interesting tidbit about her reaction to WWE marketing her as “The Mom”. This is based on Becky’s nickname in WWE, “The Man”.
As soon as the news of Becky’s pregnancy came out, WWE already started selling T-Shirts that had “The Mom” on it.
It turns out that Becky was not a big fan of WWE marketing her as that. Here is what she said:
“I really didn’t want to be marketed as “The Mom”. That’s one thing I told Colby [Seth Rollins], I was like “Man, they’re going to make me “The Mom”, I know it, I know it. He was like “no they’re not”. As soon as I said it, a frigging t-shirt came out”.
